What to expect on your walk-in visit

Registration:

For registration purposes, please bring any relevant and valid form of:

  1. Identification (Identification Card, Passport, Singpass, Birth certificate or Immigration documents).

  2. Documentation (Referral letters, Lab reports, Health Screening forms, Insurance forms/cards/documents, Written prescriptions) - If applicable to the purpose of your visit.

Where you are not able to provide any valid identification, we will not be able to proceed any further with your registration.

During your first visit, you will need to fill in a New Patient Registration Form. This includes a consent section under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) through which you may expressly provide us consent to contact you in relation to your medical condition(s), including but not limited to scheduling or reminding you of your medical appointment(s), and informing the results of any medical investigation(s) which you have undergone. We respect your right to provide, withhold or withdraw consent. However, please note we also reserve the right not to proceed any further with your registration should you chose to withhold or withdraw your consent in this area. Nonetheless, we will be able to direct you to another clinic where your specific needs may be met.

For insurance card holders, please ensure that you present your physical card or E-Card to our staff during registration. Do note that we are not able to accommodate any changes to your payment status if a physical insurance card or insurance E-Card is presented to us after consultation. However, we will be able to provide you with an itemized receipt for you to claim your bill separately with your insurance provider.

Consultation:

At the start of the consultation, Dr. Ong will take a medical history during which you may share about any issues that you are facing.

Based on the medical history, Dr. Ong may find that it is clinically necessary to,

  • Dispense medicines

  • Perform further on-site examination

  • Provide medical certificates

  • Perform minor surgical procedures

  • Refer you to another healthcare institution for further investigation or clinical intervention

At times, bodily examination may need to be performed. Dr. Ong reserves the right to summon a chaperon to witness the examination whenever clinically necessary.

Post-consult:

Once you exit the consultation room, any relevant medication, referrals, prescriptions, reports, follow-ups pertaining to your visit will be prepared.

These will be explained to you but feel free to always clarify if you are uncertain.

If necessary, payment is made at the counter.

  • Cash

  • NETS

  • SGQR

  • PayNow

Depending on the type of card used, payment may be subject to an additional surcharge.

Payments made by Cash, NETS, SGQR or PayNow are NOT subject to an additional surcharge.
